CROWN PARADISE CLUB

This is the most child friendly resort in town! It is an all-inclusive resort located next door to the  Golden Crown Paradise Resort.  Both are located downtown in an older area, close to the marina, a Wal-Mart, and a mall.  It is a medium size resort that shares the spa and clay tennis courts with the Golden Grown.  The entrance to the resort is rather hidden and it is behind buildings and difinitely not impressive.  But once inside the resort, the family will be impressed with Giant Parate Ship that the resort is built around that the children get to play on.  From the time they arrive, the children will realize that this resort is for them! They even have their own tiny luggage carriers that they can push up to their rooms.  In the small lobby there is a Flintstone station where parents can have their children pose to take their picture.  Even menus are set up for children's drinks at the pool and snack bars.  Outside you will find giant Chinese Checkers and chess to play. 

There are regular Standard Rooms and Family Rooms available. The Family Rooms are excellent!  Kids have a small partitioned area in the large room where they can sleep 3 children in bunk beds and a trundle bed. They even have a separate TV in that little room.This allows the parents to be in the same room with the children, but at the same time have a little privacy themselves. They have thought of everything in the Family Room and even have a step stool for tiny tots in the bathroom for them to reach the sink.  To top it all of, the aroma in the Family Room is that of Bubble Gum!! 

Another interesting option that they offer here is their birthday celebrations! If you let them know that a child is celebrating their birthday while staying at their resort, they will have a pinata in their room and even load up their room with balloons!  Pretty cool! 

Wireless internet is available at this resort which makes it nice for everyone.

I had dinner in their new fine dining restaurant that just opened up and it was FANTASTIC!  No matter what, you need to ask for their "Sexy Coffee" for dessert!   It is a must!  Kids of all ages will enjoy the show!!  They make this in front of you, it sparkles, it is fun, and then be ready for the surprise at the end! 

There are 3 other restaurants at this resort too.  Do you want sushi? They have it.

There is no night-time entertainment here, but right across the street, there is a club that is associated with both this resort and the Golden Crown Paradise Club that does offer nightly entertainment.

I saw the Crown Paradise Club on a recent trip to Cancun and agree that it is great for kids!  It is located in the hotel zone so it is not a long ride for the kids from the airport.  The waterpark for the kids is just amazing - it will keep them busy for hours!  They will especially love all the waterslides!

The beach it beautiful - soft white sand, blue green water.  What a great place to build a sand castle!  The beach is open and you can walk for as long as you want.  The beach is also swimmable and safe.  The pools are also nice, especially the infinity pool that looks like it's connected to the ocean.  The pools and beach area did not appear to be over crowded.  There were plenty of lounge chairs available for use.

The family suite rooms were standard with colorfully made bunk beds for the kids.  The room was spacious and suitable for a family vacation.  The Crown Club rooms offer a hot tub/jacuzzi in room with robes and slippers.  These rooms are for 2 adults only, with lots of extra perks.

The restaurants offered a variety of choice with lots of al a carte options.  My favorite restaurant was Waynes boots where you could try your skill on a mechanical bull!  The decor was western and open for dinner (steakhouse).

All in all I think this is a great resort for families with kids - young up to mid teens.
