Name of Resort:  Bavaro Princess

Location: Bavaro Coast, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Agent Reporting:  Carolyn Young

Rooms:  In the Bavaro All Suites Resort one has 808 choices of rooms.  There are 96 platinum suites, 40 honeymoon suites, 82 junior suites and 590 bungalow suites.  They rooms we looked at were roomy and furnished very nicely.

Beach:  Of course the beach is lovely, flat and is a walker’s paradise in addition to having a beautiful gentle surf.

Pool: There are 2 swimming pools one with a swim up bar.

Food:  When booking the Bavaro Princess you will have dining privileges at the other sister Princess resorts adjacent. There are 9 restaurants and 1 snack bar.  This includes:  a main buffet; an Argentinean Steakhouse, an Italian restaurant; a seafood restaurant; a concert buffet, a Teppanyaki, An international restaurant; a gourmet restaurant and an Oriental restaurant.

Drinks: There are 7 bars (2 with live music); National and International drinks included (premium brands not included)

Service/Staff:  The staff appeared friendly and very accommodating to us and the clients of the resort.

Activities:  Among the typical activities available at an all-inclusive resort, the Bavaro featured a Casino “Princess Tower Casino” with national drinks, International and Premium brands not included.  A nightly show was held in the Princess Theater and a discotheque was also located at the resort.  Spa services and health and fitness activities were also available.

A mini-club (5 to 12 years old) was available near the beach and a Teens Club Funtastic (13 to 17 years old) was available for teenagers.

Because the resort is quite large and sprawling it provides internal transportation by means of open air shuttle vehicles.

A Honeymoon package is a complimentary feature of the resort.

Overall:  The Bavaro Princess is a very large relaxed resort that features the "dine around" feature to its sister resorts.  It features ecological grounds with pathways for strolling and wildlife.  The Bavaro appeared to be a nice resort and one that most clients would enjoy.

I have placed the resort photos on my personal web page. Please visit www.goaway2getaway.com
